Question: TIMMING OR NOT

I WAS TOLD THE SPUTTERING AND THEN DIEING WAS TIMING. THEN WAS LEAD TO THE HARMONIC BALANCER....MY TRUCK STILL IS SPUTTERING AND DIES. PLEASE HELP ME ON MY NEXT REPAIR. SIGNED A CONCERNED WOMAN!

If the timing is off (ignition or mechanical) it could certainly cause this issue. There are unfortunately a few other reasons....

The first step is to have the codes read from the engine computer. This could give you some important clues.
