Question: Top will not open.
After 52,000 miles, my top failed to go down when I pulled the automatic lever back. First time ever. The dealership stated they had to do a diagnostic at $160.00. They called back later saying the hinges were bent and needed replacement at $600.00. I can't see how that could be the cause because the roll bar failed to work also, even with the top up. I originally thought it was a fuse, but they said no, there was no fuse.
They the rattled off at least two more things they found. One being an oil leak at the valve covers at a cost of $850.00 and worn motor mounts at a cost of $1,800.00. They also said there were several smaller issues.I think I'm being scammed royally here.
