Question: TRAC off light and check engine light!!!!!!!

i just installed a short ram intake on my 2013 scion XD a few hours later my check engine light came on along with the TRAC off light. my car only has 900 miles on it, i know for sure my MAF sensor is clean, and i double checked to make sure i didnt pinch/ break/ mess up any other sensors/ cables. I was told by a friend that these lights are most likely going off because the new intake is larger, and the engine/ computer is set to a factory intake (less air flow than the after market one) so the computer THINKS theres a problem. how would i go about fixing this issue?
