Question: Transmission went out.

2007 Tahoe trwnsmission went out at 85,000 miles. Was quoted $3800-$4300 for a replacement. Ive never head a tranny replaced before. Does the price seem about right?

that sounds pretty typical. You could cal another shop in your area to compare, but that is probably about right.
