In general, for all hard starting or engine performance issues, you should always start with the basics. Make sure the tune up items are done and check the charging and starting systems. The engine must have the basics done in order for it to be able to run correctly. Many things can cause this type of problem, and the simplest sometimes get overlooked.

my truck had been sitting the past 12 years, this is my restoration project, the block wasnt froze up soo we cleaned her up gas tank cleaned, new fuel pump filters, new everything, nothing internal to date, she started right up. new tires, tie rods, gearbox is leaking, to be expected, truck seems to have a hard miss, hope it is a stuck lifter, drive truck get up to around 40 starts missing and vibrating , it would with unbalanced tires, tires are new just been balanced, any ideas, the hot cable still sparks when hooked up, have to unhook it everytime, or will run down battery.
