Question: Truck will crank but will not start happened before but started drive it for a week now won't start

93 ford f150 5.0 4x4 302 changed out plugs wires distributor ignition coil and fuel filter and coil would spark sometimes but doesn't all the time.. Checked fuses and gas pressure

It's the ignition module on the distributor. I would replace the hole distributor. By the time you buy the module and pick up coil it's only $25 more.

Replaced the ign module.... Tested it with a light tester power is def going in but wasnt coming out and we weren't getting power to the ign coil we by passed it and getting power to coil just no spark from coil... Everything else has power no fuses blown and we are gonna take the new module out and have it tested, any other ideas to check..and module not on distributor it's mounted on driverside fender by firewall
