Question: trying to find out my cars clunk and hesitating problem

everytime my car goes to shift it shakes and clunks. but when i give it a little gas it doesnt do it as bad. ive changed the torque converter clutch solenoid and the engine coolant temp sensor the trans filter the motor mounts and the drive axle on the drivers side and i did a complete tune up.

How is the engine running overall? Do you have an engine misfire?

Did you replace all the motor/tranny mounts? Those are a common cause for that type of noise.

Try focusing on the engine hesitation for a while, to see if that helps with the clunk. Here's an article on diagnosing hesitations:
