Question: trying to install a clutch in a 1999 hyndai elantra and the throw out bearing is not catching the pr

Replacing a clutch in elantra and throw out baring wont grab the pressure plate

I'd need to see the vehicle to figure it out.

There are probably online sources with instruction guides on the internet. Google "free online repair guides" and you should be able to find some service information.

If you need a step by step procedure, you will have to buy a service manual for the vehicle.

Also check youtube as many people have posted videos of common repairs
