Question: Two obd II codes and i cant figure it out.

About a month ago my car kept going into limp mode thought i figured out it was the etm. Tried the sauces tps. couldnt get that to work so i got a different throttle body "used" same part numbers thought this would work. when i got the different one on it still doesnt idle right.. The codes Idle air control faulty signal and long term fuel trim upper limit. keep comming up. and the throttle body makes a very high pitched whinning now when i turn the ignition off. This sound continues for about one to two minutes.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. It could cause both those codes and the noise.

The easiest way to find a leak in the vacuum circuit is with a smoke machine. With the engine OFF, pump smoke into the intake manifold through a vacuum port and wait. The smoke will come out wherever there is a leak.

Most shops can do this for you for not very much money.
