Question: Two reman heads need help with.

I just got two heads in and one came with a head shim. I do not know which head needs to go along with the shim. I believe one head was milled down to .040. How can i figure out which head was milled down? Let me know asap. Thanks!

There should be a minimum measurement for deck height, so checking with a caliper would be one way (if you have a caliper in that range). The other way is to contact the machine shop that did the work and ask them to separate them for you.
