Question: Valves replacement at 100k miles?

My car is in for its 150k mile service. The shop is telling me that my car is in great shape, but that the valves are making noise. They said the valves should have been replaced at 100k miles and they'll be charging about $220. I don't see that scheduled in the 100k mile mark of "Your Service Schedule" on this website. Is this valid?

Sounds like you need a valve ADJUSTMENT (not new valves)

This is a normal and required service for these engines as the miles add up.
