Question: VIN Location

I have a hearse that was abandoned at my funeral home for over two years or more. I tried to receive an abandoned title, but the car does not have the vin number in the door or in the windshield. Does anyone have an idea where another location is that we may find the vin????

Those are when it should be. Call you local Department of Motor Vehicles or highway patrol. either should know if it is somewhere else on the car. also check the emission label under the hood. Many times the VIN is on it as well.
