Question: Water pump issue

Is it me, or do Toyota Dealerships put on their opportunistic hats to nickle and dime customers with this water pump replacement B.S? I do not see a leak and I change my oil every 5k miles? The kid at the front desk told me that I wouldn't see a leak because the coolent cristalizes by the engine block? HUH??? Are you kidding me? Thoughts please!

With a slow leak some types of coolant will dry up and "crystallize" I actually see it all the time on Audis.

You aren't obligated to replace it, or have the dealership do the work. Why not get a second opinion if you aren't sure.
