Question: What actions may be required to fix the following?

Electrical latch releases for rear door will not activate to open the rear gate. Either swing out or drop down motion. Rear window will not retract when attempting to use switch. Key entry will not activate this action either.

Sounds like you have electrical issues in the lift gate itself. You'll need a shop to check the circuits to see if it is a wiring problem or component failure.
