Question: What are torque specs for Connecting Rod Journals and Crank Journals?

2.0 Litre 4 Sport Suspension

Both fasteners are torque to yeild stretch bolt type. Usually they need to be replaced.

Lightly oil the threads of the bolts, Make sure threads are clean etc.

Con rod: 16.3-19.8 ft lbs + 90 degrees

Crank bearing caps: 12.7 - 16.2 ft lbs + 90 degrees
