Question: What can cause an occasional burning smell coming from the blower vents?

I left the ac on when I shut off the vehicle. The car filled with smoke the next time I turned the engine on. This has only happened once since I am now sure to turn off the blower before I turn the engine off. I never see smoke anymore, but I always notice a burning smell after the blower runs for awhile. This has been happening since before the smoke came out of the vents.

If it is when the blower is on, there may be some sort of debris in it causing the smell. You should have it check to avoid a potential fire in the future.
