Question: What causes a car to lose all electrical power?

I was going 65MPH when I lost all electrical power to my 2007 Pontiac G6. The speedometer and tach are locked at about that location. It has no electrical to try to restart it either.

You can troubleshoot it by treating it like a no-crank if it won't crank over. When you find out why it won't start, you'll have the answer to why it died. Here's a troubleshooting article:
