Question: what causes the heater hoses to leak.

my heater hoses have been leaking. i had them replaced twice. it seams to me theyre leaking over night once the car has cooled down.

You'll need to pressure test the system to be sure they are the issue. It may be the hose clamps just need readjustment (tightening) after the hoses seat in.

Also check your cap and make sure it isn't over pressurizing the system and causing a leak.
