Question: what could be the problem?

I have a 97 Mercury Sable 4dr. wagon 6cycl. When the car is sitting in park and running. you can hear the squishing sound. (tsk, tsk, tsk) (it almost sound like fluid is rubbing like a wave rushing at the beach if you know what i mean). you can also hear it while you driving normal.
