Question: What could cause thie dash lights to go off and is it dangerous?

Recently, my dash lights have gone off while driving the car. sometimes for seconds, sometimes longer. It does not effect the performance of driving. what causes this and is it dangerous?

Check you dimmer switch. It could be over heating and when it cools it comes back on. I would not drive at night to much.
