Question: What could it be

while moving I turn the wheel left, around even a slight curve I hear a grinding (rubbing) sound and a high pitch squeek...seems to be coming from drivers side right wheel...

It could your front brakes or a front wheel hub bearing. I would check the brakes. Most of the time it's just them.
