Question: What does evaporative emission system vent control circuit intermittent mean

put computer on and this code comes up

Your car takes vapor out of the gas tank instead of putting it into the air. Now the computer runs test to make sure that the gas tank is sealed so no vapors from the tank go into the air. The vent valve is a solenoid that closes to let the computer test the gas tank system for a leak. It telling you that the vent valve need to be replced. It can be in two places. One is at the front of the gas tank on the canister. It's a teo wire connector. The other place is at the back of the gas tank. It looks like a plastic round gar. It will be on the top. It will have a two wire connector. This part should be bought a he dealer.
