Question: what does "Engine coolant temperature sensory circuit high temperature low" mean?

I have a 1994 gmc sierra and i have had this code show up recently and have tried all i can think of to fix this. Any advise??

If you post the exact code I can give you a better description, but it sounds like the coolant temp sensor is expecting to see a certain high temperature and either the coolant is not getting hot enough (thermostat stuck open, or very low coolant) or the temp sensor is faulty.

I'd start with checking that the thermostat is closing when it should and the engine is getting up to normal operating temperature. What have you done already?
