Question: What if some metal particles get into motor oil, what I put into my car

It happened the gasket was broken, and after I add 1lLof motor oil to my car, a couple of small metal particles about 2mm (broken from the gasket) fall into the engine, with the motor oil.
What I should do? Does the oil filter filter them out? Or they can damage the engine?

Thank you.

The filter will filter it out. But I would do a oil change in a few miles.
