Question: What is the part between map sensor and pcv valve called?

I am having serious issues conquering a moderate over heat. There is a componant located between the map sensor and pcv valve with two heater hoses attatched to it. I would like to know anything i can find about it...i.e. purpose, name, how to t/s it....thanks in advance

That's hard to identify without one being able to look at what you're describing. But you may be better off with some systematic troubleshooting of the overheating problem. Here's a good article with the steps involved:
