Question: What is the pipe in the wheel well on the back end drivers side?

i got some damage to my rear bumper and drivers side rear wheel well. the plastic in the wheel well broke and there is a pipe running behind the plastic and is disconeected or broken. i wanted to find out exactly what that pipe is and if the car is safe to drive until i get it fixed.

Sounds like something to do with the fuel tank or maybe EVAP system. Hard to say without looking at in person. Take it down to a shop and have it looked at.
