Question: what is wrong

My brother-in-law gave me this car when he and my sister moved out. a few months before igot it it ran fine. afterwards i removed the gas tank and cleaned it cause the gas had been sitting for a few months. now the car wont start and the fuel pump is getting power but doesnt work. Also about a year before i got it he had a new engine out in and fuel pump. Could it be a bad connection or could the entire fuel pump be bad?

If you are getting power to the pump and it's not operating, check the connections and replace the pump if needed.

Always have a fire extinguisher ready when working on fuel systems!
