Question: What is wrong with my car?

I recently replaced the battery in the car, but it was having issues accelerating unless it has been warmed up very well. It would stay at around 20 mph until you went downhill or it was warm and then it would shift but it was putting out very high RPM. Then tonight I was driving home from work and the car just shut off. The steering wheel locked up and it would not start nor would the steering wheel unlock. I had to have the car towed to my house because it will not start. PLEASE HELP!!

Sounds like multiple issues.

Check the fault codes from the engine computer.

If the steering wheel locked with the key in the ignition you probably have an issue with the lock cylinder as well.
