Question: what should a 75,000 mile service cost

I was just interetsed in what the cost of a service would be. The dealership wants about $900 is this reasonable?

Depends on what you get. Sometimes shops offer more services than what is required. While this is not necessarily bad, it can make the costs go up. And if money is tight, you can ask them to do just what is needed.

So you could ask for a list of what they want to do and compare that to what the factory recommends being done at that service mileage.

I would recommend following the factory recommended service procedures for your vehicle.

You can find that information in your owner's manual in the service schedule and in our servicing your car section of this website.
