Question: what should i look or check for

i put on new front pads and rotors at 50k now at 55. when i roll to a slow stop i can feel and hear the front brake grinding

Check and make sure you didn't install the brakes incorrectly. Look for a shinny spot where metal is rubbing. And make sure the backing plates aren't bent and rubbing on the rotor (common error) If they are, just bend them back out.
