Question: what sort of price are we looking at?

I have a 2012 mustang that the left side needs replaced. The front clip that is. The steering and both side air bags popped. Will I be able to do this work myself without having to buy any special tools?

When planning work on a vehicle that new, purchasing a factory manual is the best way to go. It will tell you whatever special tools are necessary for the procedure and will go through the procedure step by step, which the most important thing when working on air bags. The factory manuals are the most expensive ones (usually ~$100, available at the dealership or online) but they are the only ones worth having.

To get an estimate on the repairs, you can try the 'repair cost calculator' link but you may have to enter the info for a 2011, since there probably isn't 2012 data in the system yet.
