Question: what wire for power to my cluster

i bought neww gauges for my cluster but they require to be connected to a power source. they are just gauge faces so they slide on top of the old ones. what do i connect the red power wire that the gauges came with to? i know to connect the black one to a bolt for grounding.! please help!
