Question: What would cause vehicle to not run after starting?

This pickup has had a rebuilt carburator, new gas tank, gas lines, fuel filter, timing set & numerous things. It will start, but will falter & die when trying to drive it. it runs good when it is running, but can't figure out why it dies.

So you are saying it idles good, but dies when you put it in drive? That could be many things, a few of them are:
improperly adjusted carburetor
ignition timing is off
engine timing is off
