Question: What's making this rumbling sound?

I have a 2002 Lancer OZ Rally
There's a loud rumbling sound when I'm in gear and accelerating. When I'm in neutral and I rev the engine, the sound doesn't occur. Also, the sound doesn't seem to happen when I'm in reverse. I would really appreciate some help in figuring out what's going on.

You need to pop the hood and look for something rubbing. Also look at the tires to make sure they are not rubbing on the inner fender. From there make sure the under plastic is not loose.
