Question: What's wrong with my truck?

For any of you mechanics out there, I have a perplexing problem someone may know. I have a 1991 Toyota Pickup with more than 362K miles on it. Just recently I got the engine leak resolved, but the check engine light is on and my Toyota mechanic hasn't been able to resolve the issue. So my wife and I examined the vehicle today and on the right side, where the gas tank is, there is a liquid the consistency and smell of oil leaking out of both the front passenger side and back side tire wells. The engine appears completely dry. Does anyone have a guess as to what is going on?

What are the fault codes from the engine computer?

The only leak from that area that might look like oil could be brake fluid... Have it checked out.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
