Question: when car is hot will not start

starts when cold. when HOT will not start .sometimes cranking for a long time will eventually start it. replaced crank shaft sensor,cam shaft seal, timing belt, serpentine belt,coil assembly. Also when fixing, parking lights (front) license plate,and back lights not working anymore. directional,backup,beams, all working. whats wrong?

Have you changed the spark plugs? For all hard starting or engine performance issues, you should always start with the basics. Make sure the tune up items are done and check the charging and starting systems. The engine must have the basics done in order for it to be able to run correctly. Many things can cause this type of problem, and the simplest sometimes get overlooked.

If those are done already you'll need a shop to look at it.

As to the electrical issue, check your fuses. Sounds like you may have popped one when working on the car.
