Question: when my car heats up and you shift it into drive or reverse it dies

When you shift it pinto drive or reverse it dies but if you leave it in park or neutral it stays running.it also stay running until it gets hot and works fine until then you can drive it fine then it heats up and dies in drive and reverse what could this be and how do i fix it?

Your vehicle has an IAC (Idle Air Control ) valve. When it opens or closes it increases or decreases the amount of air it lets into the throttle body. By changing the air flow, it controls the idle speed. Yours sounds like it is not reacting.

That's where I'd start, assuming it is tuned up and well maintained.
