Question: Which type (type-F, DexronIII/Mercon, combo?) Transmission Fluid for a 1989 SAAB 900 Turbo

I bought this car (obviously used) and there is no manual AND the box that I had with all the fluid replacements was stolen from the carport and I hadn't written down the automatic transmission fluid or the brake fluid. I went to The Pep Boys and they are a bunch of monkeys. Please help!!

Sorry to hear that you got your stuff stolen. As far as the brake fluid goes, it should be written down on the brake fluid cap on the brake master cylinder. If not, it is most likely DOT 3.
As for the Automatic Transmission fluid, it is Type-F.
