Question: Whining noise when accelerating above 70 mph
In my Grand Cherokee, I hear a whining noise when I press the accelerator petal above 70 mph. The car drives fine and I don't fear the car will break down, but the noise is significantly louder once I hit 70 mph. The noise goes away when I am not pressing the gas pedal. It also does the same when I am in cruise.
