Question: why am I spending so much money on gas?

My car idles at .8 rpm when i start the engine, when I first start drive the rpm goes between 2-3 at 20 mph, I seems to be using alot of gas this way?

Check with the dealer as it is still under warranty. If there is an issue with the fuel economy or fuel strategy, they should be able to reset the adaptives back to when it was new.
