Question: why can't I remove my two front tires to my car?

My break pads needed to be replaced a long time ago. I was driving a couple weeks with that grinding metal sound. Now that I finally got the new break pads, I cant take the tires off, I tried everything to whack the loose, but they wont budge. What could be the problem?

They are probably stuck on the hubs. This happens occasionally. Usually when this happens at my shop it take two people and a dead blow hammer to knock the wheel off. One person pulls while one person hits. The person pulling will rotate the wheel when it moves a little so it comes off evenly. When you finally get it off, check the hub and wheel for damage and corrosion, make sure it's clean and the wheel freely sits on the hub before reinstalling the wheel.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
