Question: why do fuel pump relay points keep sticking?

Have changed relay several times with short lived success. Appears that only one prong is getting too hot. Changed fuel pump 6 months ago. Occasionally, when it is running, all dashboard warning lights come on while all gauges stop working. Loose ground? Where? Thanks.

Have your charging system checked for AC leakage and proper DC voltage output. Burnt contacts indicate high amp draw, so it could just be a defective pump. New doesn't always mean good.

And yes, weak grounds can cause this type of issue as well.
