Question: why does it sputter and hesitate like it loses power when it gets to about a quarter of a tank

When you r going on the highway you can be driving 70 and it feels like it jus losses all its power not even if you push the gas down it doesnt even respond

The fuel pump pick up in the tank could be causing your problem. It could have a crack in it. You will need to chaeck fuel pressure with a gauge toknow for sure. The prssure should be about 45psi all the time.
