Question: Why does my truck almost stall when coming to a stop?

I have an 05 GMC Canyon midsize pickup. As I come to a complete stop it almost seems like its about to stall. Idles really low and putters right as im stopping then once it sits a second it idles fine. also sometimes as I move from a stopped position or when begging to slow down, I can hear a clattering sound coming from under the truck. it sounds like piece of metal bouncing around in a tin can almost.. any thoughts?

I would have the car inspected. You could have a bad cam soleniod. That would give you both of those problems.
