Question: why does this car cut off

car cuts off
this happens when the car is stopped. i have replaced exhaust, o2 sensors, full tune up, fuel filters. it takes 15mins of sitting before it will restart.
took the car to NTB and this is what i got
16706 engine rpm sensor G28 no signal p0322 intermittent
17536 fuel trim bank 1 (mult) system to lean p1128 intermittent

I also get better mpg in higher altitudes. I get 25mpg in Ks. and in Co. I get 29mpg. above 7000feet I get over 30mpg

If you have a code for engine rpm you need to replace the crank sensor. That should take care of the rest of the codes.

The other code means that the fuel mixture is lean or there is not enough fuel going in the engine. So you could have a fuel pump problem. That would also be why you get better mileage above 7000 feet.
