Question: why is engine light on in dashboard?

yellow engine shaped light is lighting every time i drive. Sometimes car will die while driving and sometimes will start and sometimes it wont without jump.

You'll need to get the codes pulled from the computer. A code will give you a direction to follow to diagnose this problem and tell you why the light is on.
