Question: Why is low coolant coming on?

Low coolant comes on - add coolant, it goes off. Mechanic cannot find any leajs. What.s happening?

To find the leak you’ll need to perform a coolant system pressure test. You need a special pressure tester that fits on your coolant cap to do this test. Even a small leak usually will show very quickly. Most shops have one and shouldn’t charge very much to do it for you.

Saturns did have a problem with the coolant cap seal failing, so you could start there if money is tight
