Question: Why is my car getting bad gas mileage.

My car has started getting bad gas mileage. My tank is 15 gallons. I just checked it and it's getting about 20 mpg. I was getting about 25 mpg. I'm not doing anything different in driving habits and my car gets serviced every 3000 miles. The only difference is that I got new tires, which doesn't make sense to me. Any ideas.

If you got different size tires that is why it went down. If they are the same then it should not. Make sure your tune up and filters are good. From there you will nedd a shop to look at your fuel trim to see whats going on.
