Question: why is my truck getting hot?

finally got truck running, after 10 years everything new except radiator, ran clr through it several times, could i still have air in ghe system? fill up radiator let run till opens add more, do this a couple times, put on cap, let run starts to get hotter and hotter so i shut jt off let it cool check fluid always have to add more. not any visible leaks, coulx it maybe be the radiator, any suggestions on a good way to get air out of the system. help.
