Question: why will it not reach operateing temp.pull off road .cut off for a bit.start driving, temp. gage sh

put new thermostat, pulled coolant blk. off and cleaned it, changed sensors from a 1995 toyota 4 runner . still won register. thermostat is working fine .

Ground out the wire going to the gauge from the sendor. If the guage does not move you need a new gauge or the wire is broke.
